Steve Post began his teaching career in 1985 as a teacher and coach at Franklin Middle school. He continued his teaching/coaching career through 1994 when he became an assistant principal. Over the past 14 years Steve has held several administrative positions in various districts including Middle School Principal, High School Principal, Assistant Superintendent, and Superintendent of Schools. Steve returned to AISD in 2003 after serving as a School Finance Specialist and field agent at Region 14 Education Service Center. After 4 years as the Principal at Franklin Middle School he moved into his current position as Director of Student Services.

Steve was born and raised in Midland, TX. He graduated from Hardin-Simmons University in 1985 with a B. ED. and in 1993 from Sul Ross State University with a M. ED. with his mid-management and superintendent certifications. He and his wife, Anne, have been married for 22 years and they have two daughters, Allison and Amanda.
